The contemporary informational spaces are becoming fertile ground for malicious actors who exploit the lack of awareness of the public to evaluate and analyse subversive narratives masking themselves as truth. CIDER aims to uphold the objective nature of truth through its tripartite mission to: expose, educate and equip against disinformation and FIMI.
Educational Wargaming
Developing educational material on Information Warfare (IW) and disinformation narratives.

Investigations and Narrative Analysis
Conducting extensive research into disinformation operations focusing on analysing narratives and exposing actors of disinformation.

Investigating networks in Europe spreading disinformation narratives.
Providing Resources
Creating and aggregating resources in order to create an environment for capacity building for civil society actors in order to strengthen their ability to expose and counter disinformation and FIMI.

Developing guidelines and protocols to aid journalists and researchers to determine the reliability of Open Source Information (OSINF) and OSINT on social media platforms.

Creation of a framework of cooperation with partners and stakeholders from civil society, academia and think tanks focusing on disinformation and FIMI.
